eTwinning project – Creating Open Educational Resources for Inclusive Digital Healthcare
eTwinning project titled “Creating Open Educational Resources for Inclusive Digital Healthcare”, which was part of the Erasmus+ INVITE project carried out jointly by Turkey, Slovakia, and Croatia, took place between March and June 2025. The aim of the project was to raise awareness about inclusive digital healthcare and to support the development of digital competencies among students, with a special focus on the needs of elderly and disadvantaged individuals.
At the beginning of the project, project partners prepared meaningful content tailored for these target groups. Turkish students created a podcast focusing on the difficulties elderly individuals face while using digital health applications. (Part 1 and Part 2)
Slovak students produced a video and an activity introducing Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) systems to elderly users.
Meanwhile, Croatian students created a video promoting empathy and understanding toward older adults and disadvantaged communities.
As part of the broader Erasmus+ project, project partners also contributed to the development of an open educational resource, which aims to become a part of the digital curriculum in health vocational schools. In this context, students collaborated on the creation of a digital dictionary based on key learning outcomes.
Later the students designed an educational digital game to reinforce the vocabulary they had learned.

Toward the end of the project, students co-created a digital storybook addressing common issues faced by older individuals.
The project was concluded with an international online student meeting, where participants had the chance to reflect on their experiences and achievements.
At the end of the project, a page was created for students to share their thoughts and feelings about their experiences. A final evaluation survey was conducted. Certificates of participation in the project were prepared.
This project was a valuable experience for all participants, enhancing international cooperation, empathy, creativity, and digital literacy. The outputs are now being shared through various platforms for broader dissemination and future use in educational settings.
